After three exciting days of college cricket and over 25 games, it came down to a "Do or Die" Saturday for most of the teams in the American College Cricket Championship in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

 
In the North East Conference, NYU, York College (New York), Boston U and Rutgers all threatened to go to the Semis if they could win their matches. Lose....and that's it!

USC crushed UMiami, scoring 160 for 6 in 20 overs. Tarun Tiyagi, the captain scoring 59 (5x4s, 1x6). UMiami seemed in a hurry to go to a party was then bowled out for 66. 

 
In the days before the championships Hashim Khan of George Mason U prepared hard in beautiful South Beach. His team facing the vaunted University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). UMBC batted first and Nurnish Singh, 38 (2x4s, 3x6s)  and Beenish Bhatia 22* helped them get to 128 for 8 in 20 overs. George Mason U had no trouble getting to the winning total of 133 and losing 7 wickets along the way.
