New York - August 10, 2010: The Team USA men's squad departed for Bologna, Italy yesterday where they will compete against Argentina, Cayman Islands, Nepal, Tanzania and hosts Italy, in the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 4 Championships. The top two teams will advance to Division 3 and compete in that grouping in Hong Kong next January.
The sport of cricket is no stranger to the Borough of Brooklyn in New York City, as cricket can be seen being played across the entire borough, but more so in the Canarsie, Mill Basin and south west Brooklyn areas.
